Fort Wayne PPC and Paid Ads

Google Ads and Paid Advertising in Fort Wayne

Paid ads buy demand that already exists today. Done right, a Fort Wayne homeowner with a broken furnace or a leaking pipe sees your ad, calls, and books. Done wrong, the same budget disappears on broad searches, homepage clicks, and calls nobody tracked.

Prestige Collective manages Google Ads and Meta Ads for Fort Wayne and Allen County service businesses. Strategy, copy, and reporting are led in house by founder James Leff. Campaigns are built around buyer intent searches, tracked phone calls, and landing pages that match what the ad promised. This page is part of our Fort Wayne marketing services. When paid ads make sense

Paid ads are not right for every week of the year, and they are not a substitute for a good reputation. They make sense when you need calls now, not in three months. A heating company heading into the first cold snap in November. A roofer after a spring storm moves through Allen County. A dental office with two open hygiene chairs next week. A law firm that handles a specific kind of case and wants more of those consultations this quarter. In those moments, there are people in Fort Wayne searching right now, and an ad puts you in front of them today.

Ads also help fill the schedule in slow weeks. Most service businesses have a pattern: busy after the first hot week in June, quiet in a mild October, busy again when the pipes freeze. A campaign you can turn up, turn down, or pause by service gives you some control over that pattern. You are not hoping the phone rings. You are buying a set number of chances to make it ring, in the neighborhoods you actually serve, for the jobs you actually want.

Ads make less sense when the basics are broken. If your phone goes to voicemail on every third call, if your landing page loads slowly and says nothing clear, or if nobody follows up on the leads that do come in, fix that first. That is why we talk so often about pairing ads with Never Miss a Lead. Paying for a click and then missing the call is the most expensive way to learn that lesson.

Google Ads and Meta Ads do different jobs

Google Ads: buyer intent

Google Ads reach people at the moment they search. Someone typing a service plus Fort Wayne, or a plain emergency phrase on their phone, is not browsing for ideas. They need help and they are choosing who to call. Tight campaigns built around those searches, with clear ad copy, a direct call option, and a landing page about that exact service, are where local ad budgets usually earn their keep first. Emergency terms, specific services, and service plus city searches belong here.

Meta Ads: demand creation and retargeting

Meta Ads, on Facebook and Instagram, reach people who are not searching yet. That works well for services people plan, compare, or put off: a med spa treatment, a bathroom remodel consultation, an orthodontic consult, or a seasonal offer from a business they already know. Meta is also strong for retargeting, showing a clear next step to people who visited your website, watched a video, or started a booking and stopped. The creative matters more here. A real photo of your team, your office, or your work in Fort Wayne will almost always say more than a stock image, and a simple offer in plain words will beat clever copy that hides the point.

How campaigns are built

Every campaign starts with the jobs you want, the areas you serve, and the calls you can actually handle. From there, the build follows a set pattern.

After launch, the work is weekly, not set and forget. Search terms get reviewed, weak keywords get cut, bids and budgets shift toward the services producing calls, and landing pages get tightened based on what visitors actually did. Good local campaigns get simpler and sharper over time, not bigger and messier.

What kills local ad budgets

Most wasted ad spend in Fort Wayne follows the same few patterns. Broad keywords that match almost any search, so a plumbing company pays for clicks from people looking for plumbing jobs, plumbing supplies, and how to fix a leak themselves. Ads sent to the homepage, where a person who searched for one urgent service has to hunt for the right page and gives up. No call tracking, so the owner hears that ads are getting clicks but cannot say whether a single booked job came from them. And no follow up, so a lead that came in at 7 at night gets a callback the next afternoon, after they have already booked someone else.

There is a quieter problem too: campaigns nobody owns. An account gets built, a credit card gets attached, and months pass without anyone cutting a bad keyword or noticing that the service area includes towns the business never serves. Our reporting exists to prevent exactly that. If the numbers are weak, you see them, and we talk about what changes.

Paid ads also work best alongside the slower channels, not instead of them. Strong organic rankings from SEO lower your long term cost per lead, a good review profile makes more ad clicks turn into calls, and a fast follow up system makes sure the calls you paid for turn into booked work. Ads buy speed. The rest of the system decides whether that speed was worth buying.

Reporting in plain numbers

You should never need a marketing degree to read your own ad report. Ours covers spend, clicks, calls, cost per call, and booked jobs where they can be tracked. We show which services and which parts of Allen County produced the calls, and which ones ate budget without producing anything. If a number cannot be tracked honestly, we say so instead of dressing it up.

Founder James Leff leads strategy, copy, and reporting in house. He is a former member and contributor with the Forbes Agency Council, was named a Top 20 SEO Consultant in the U.S., and received the UpCity National Excellence Award. In platform ad management is handled through vetted partners under that strategy, with one point of contact for you. You ask one person what happened, what it cost, and what happens next, and you get a straight answer.

Pricing

15% of ad spend, $750 per month minimum

Standalone ad management is 15 percent of ad spend, with a $750 per month minimum. Ad management is also included inside Prestige Growth (from $1,950 per month), and Prestige Scale (from $2,950 per month, custom proposal) includes management for up to $5,000 in monthly ad spend, at 15 percent above that. Ad spend is separate, paid directly to the platform, and the budget is agreed before anything launches. Management includes campaign build, keyword and negative keyword work, ad copy, landing page direction, call tracking setup, and plain numbers reporting. No budget change is made without your approval.

We will not recommend a spend level just to make the retainer look better. If a smaller, focused campaign in one service area is the right test for your business, that is what we will propose. If ads do not make sense for your trade or your season at all, we will say that on the audit call and point you to the work that does.

Frequently asked questions

How much should I budget for ad spend?

It depends on your trade, your service area, and how much competition is bidding on the same searches in Fort Wayne. A focused campaign in one service and one part of Allen County needs less than a campaign covering several services across the whole county. On the audit call we will talk through a starting budget that fits your goals, agree on it in writing, and adjust only with your approval. Ad spend is paid to the platform and is separate from management.

How fast will ads produce calls?

Ads can start showing as soon as a campaign launches, and calls can come in the first days. The first two to three weeks are still a learning period, when we cut weak keywords, tighten targeting, and improve the landing page based on real searches. Judge the campaign on the trend in cost per call and booked jobs over the first full month, not on any single day.

Do I own my ad account?

Yes. Your campaigns are built in an ad account you own. You keep the account, the campaign history, and the data if you ever move on. We work inside your account as a manager, and you can see spend and results directly in the platform at any time, not only in our reports.

What platforms do you run ads on?

Most Fort Wayne service businesses start with Google Ads for buyer intent searches and Meta Ads, which covers Facebook and Instagram, for retargeting and demand creation. Which mix fits depends on your service and your customer. We will recommend a starting platform based on where your buyers are actually looking, and we will explain the reasoning before any budget is spent.

What are the contract terms?

Standalone ad management runs month to month, and inside Growth and Scale it follows the retainer terms: a 90 day pilot, then month to month. Ad budgets are agreed before anything launches and are not changed without your approval. If you pause or stop, your ad account and your data stay with you.

What reporting do I get?

You get plain numbers: spend, clicks, calls, cost per call, and booked jobs where they can be tracked. Reports are written in plain language, without padding weak results in jargon. If a campaign is not producing calls at a cost that makes sense for your business, we will say so and recommend a change.
