National Church Marketing Agency
Church Marketing Agency
Every week in every American city, a family new to town searches for a church home. They decide on Google first, then on your website, long before they ever sit in your sanctuary. Churches that win new guests are not the loudest churches. They are the easiest churches to find, understand, and visit.
Church marketing, answered up front
What it is: A marketing system built only for churches: website, local search, Google Ad Grants, and seasonal campaigns that turn searching families into Sunday guests
Who it is for: Churches that want more first-time guests and a plan their board can understand, from growing church plants to multi-campus ministries
What it costs: Growth plans from $1,950 per month; church websites from $4,800. Smaller churches start with the website and add the system when attendance supports it
Who runs it: James Leff, founder of Prestige Collective, who co-founded a Christian community that grew to nearly 700 members and founded a campus ministry at Michigan State University
Think about the Saturday night routine of the family you most want to reach. A young couple in a suburb they moved to three months ago opens their phone and searches "churches near me." They scan the map results: service times, photos, a star rating. They click through to two or three websites. One church answers the questions that matter to them in ten seconds: what time, what do I wear, where do my kids go. The other church buries service times three clicks deep and shows a stock photo of a sanctuary they will never recognize. The couple shows up Sunday at the first church. Not because its ministry is better. Because its website was.
That scene plays out thousands of times a week across the country, and it is why church marketing exists. Your ministry did not change. The way people find it did. Prestige Collective is a church marketing agency built for that reality. We help churches turn online visitors into Sunday guests: a website built for first-time visitors, a Google presence that puts you on the map, $10,000 a month in free Google ads through the Ad Grant most churches never claim, and campaign pushes around Easter and Christmas that fill your two biggest Sundays of the year.
Built by someone who has built church community
I am James Leff, founder of Prestige Collective. Before I ever sold marketing, I built faith community myself. I co-founded Grand Rapids Christian Connect, a Christian community in Grand Rapids that grew to nearly 700 members. I founded Safeway Ministries, a campus ministry at Michigan State University. Today I attend Pine Hills Church in Fort Wayne, where I watch every week what draws a first-time guest back for a second Sunday. I have built church community from the inside, not just marketed it from the outside, so the plans I build for churches come from lived experience, not a template.
My agency work carries the same standard. I am a former Forbes Agency Council member, I have been ranked a Top 20 SEO Consultant in the U.S., and I have earned the UpCity National Excellence Award. I co-founded JSL Marketing and scaled it over seven years. What that means for your church is simple: the technical work (websites, SEO, ad accounts) is done at a professional standard, and the strategy is shaped by someone who actually knows what a pastor worries about on a Monday morning. That combination is rare, and it is why churches keep us.
What a church marketing agency actually does
Church Website Design
Most church websites are built for members: bulletins, calendars, sermon archives. A first-time guest needs three things: service times, what to expect, and a reason to trust you with their Sunday morning. We rebuild church sites around one job: turning website visitors into Plan Your Visit submissions.
Local SEO and Google Business Profile
When someone searches "churches near me," the map result is your first impression. We claim and manage your profile, keep service times and photos current, build the reviews new families check, and rank your website for the searches that matter: your city, your neighborhood, your style of church.
Google Ad Grants Management
Google gives qualifying churches up to $10,000 a month in free search advertising. Almost nobody uses it well. We handle the application and manage the grant month to month, aimed at the searches that fill seats, not the vanity clicks that waste it. Learn how Ad Grants management works.
Plan Your Visit Funnels
A guest who has to hunt for service times is a guest you already lost. We build a clear guest path: photos of real people, answers to the awkward questions, and a simple form. When someone submits it, our Never Miss a Lead system texts them back right away and alerts your team, so a warm inquiry never sits in an inbox until Monday.
Easter and Christmas Campaign Pushes
Your two highest-attendance Sundays of the year are also your best first-visit opportunities. We run focused pushes around both: landing pages, Google and social ads, invite graphics your members can share, and follow-up sequences for every guest who walks in. A guest who visits at Easter and gets a genuine follow-up is a member by summer.
Sermon Clips and Content
Most churches preach forty great sermons a year and then let them die on Sunday. We turn your weekly message into short clips for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, where the unchurched actually spend their time. Your pastor is already doing the hard work. We make sure people see it.

The path from unchurched to first-time guest has a shape, and most church websites ignore it. It starts with a search: "churches near me," "contemporary church in [city]," "church with kids programs near me." Google shows the map pack. The family scans three signals: distance, service time, and reviews. Churches with an unclaimed profile, wrong hours, or no photos get skipped without a second thought. That is the first gate, and it is won or lost before your theology is ever considered.
The second gate is the website visit. A new family gives your site about one minute. In that minute they are asking practical questions, not theological ones: What time are services. What do I wear. Where do my kids go. Is there parking. Is the worship traditional or contemporary. Websites that answer these questions plainly and visibly, with photos of real people and a clear Plan Your Visit button, win. Websites that lead with the pastor's biography, a mission statement paragraph, and a calendar of members-only events lose. This is not about dumbing anything down. It is about meeting a nervous family where they are.
The third gate is follow-up. A family that submits a Plan Your Visit form is raising their hand. Most churches answer on Monday, if at all, through a generic email. By then the family has visited somewhere else. Instant text back, a warm personal answer, and a reminder text Saturday night: that is the difference between a submission and a seat. Our clients use the Never Miss a Lead system for exactly this, and it is included in every Growth and Scale plan because it closes the loop the website starts.
What usually breaks first
- Website built for members, not guests: service times buried three clicks deep, no photos of real people, no Plan Your Visit path. A new family decides in under a minute.
- Google Business Profile unclaimed or outdated: wrong service times, no photos, few reviews. When someone searches "churches near me," the map result is your first impression, and most churches have not touched theirs in a year.
- The Ad Grant nobody applied for: $10,000 a month in free Google ads, sitting unclaimed while your church pays nothing and gets nothing. The churches using it are pulling new guests every single week.
- Guest follow-up that ends at the welcome desk: guest cards go in a drawer and no text or email ever follows. Most first-time guests decide about a second visit within 48 hours.
- Sermons that die on Sunday: the large majority of churches livestream, but almost none turn the sermon into short clips for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts, where the unchurched actually spend their time.
- Easter and Christmas treated like normal Sundays: these are the two days all year when unchurched people are most willing to walk through your doors. Churches that plan campaigns around them grow. Churches that just hope for a good crowd do not.
What the system includes
Your plan can include any of the following, scoped to your church in the audit:
- Google Business Profile management: service times, photos, posts, and reviews, worked weekly so the map result always looks alive.
- Plan Your Visit funnel: a clear guest path on your website with simple forms, powered by our Never Miss a Lead system, so every inquiry gets an immediate text back and your team gets alerted.
- Google Ad Grants management: the application plus month to month management of your $10,000 monthly grant, aimed at the searches that bring first-time guests. See how Ad Grants management works.
- Easter and Christmas campaign pushes: landing pages, ads, and shareable invite content timed to your two biggest Sundays of the year.
- Sermon clip system: your weekly sermon cut into short clips for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, so your teaching reaches people who would never walk in cold.
- Review generation from your congregation: a simple, honest ask that builds the social proof new families check before visiting.
- AI search visibility: structured content and consistent facts so ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and Perplexity name your church when someone asks where to go. Read how AI search visibility works.
- Monthly reporting in plain language: guest inquiries, profile views, and grant spend, reported so your board understands it in five minutes.
A strong site is part of the system, not an extra. When the current website is holding visitors back, our web design rebuilds it around one job: turning website visitors into Sunday guests. Growth websites start at $4,800.

Common questions from pastors and church staff
Our church is small. Can we afford this?
Honestly, maybe not yet, and we will tell you. Prestige Growth starts at $1,950 per month, which fits churches running 300 or more in weekly attendance. Smaller churches usually do better starting with a one-time website project, and our Growth websites start at $4,800. We would rather point you to the right fit than sell you a retainer that strains the budget.
What is the Google Ad Grant, and do we qualify?
Google gives eligible churches and nonprofits up to $10,000 per month in free search advertising through Google Ad Grants. Most churches qualify through their nonprofit status and a Google for Nonprofits enrollment. We handle the application and manage the grant month to month, and the management is included in your Growth plan. If you already have a grant that is underperforming, we can usually tell in one audit why.
How do you measure results for a church?
In guests, not clicks. We track Plan Your Visit submissions, first-time guest counts you report back, Google profile actions like calls and directions, and attendance lift around Easter and Christmas pushes. You get a plain-language monthly report your board can read in five minutes.
Do you work with another church in our city?
We avoid working with direct competitors in the same area. A metro is not big enough for that to be fair to either church. If we already work with a church near you, we will tell you plainly before any agreement is signed.
Our board has to approve this. How does that work?
We are used to it. After the audit, we put the plan in plain language with clear pricing, no jargon, and we will walk your board through it on a call if that helps. Most boards approve faster when they see the Ad Grant math: $10,000 a month in free ads, managed inside a plan they already understand.
How much does church marketing cost?
Prestige Growth starts at $1,950 per month, and Prestige Scale starts at $2,950 per month by custom proposal for larger and multi campus churches. The Never Miss a Lead system and Google Ad Grants management are included at both levels. Paid ads beyond the grant, when you choose to run them, are managed at 15% of ad spend with a $750 per month minimum, and your ad spend itself is paid directly to Google.
